Himmelreich Piotr – ur. około 1530 r. w Królewcu. Studiował na uniwersytetach w Królewcu (1544-1555, gdzie zdobył tytuł magistra), Frankfurcie nad Odrą, Lipsku, Wittenberdze oraz Roztoce. W 1563 r. powrócił do Królewca i został mianowany subinspektorem alumnów książęcych na miejscowym uniwersytecie. Jesienią 1564 r. przybył do Elbląga i objął urząd rektora gimnazjum. Po kilku miesiącach zrezygnował, aby móc zostać rezydentem Elbląga na dworze królewskim.
