Zalew Wiślany (w Rosji: Zalew Kaliningradzki)(dawna
nazwa Zatoka Świeża) – słonawowodny zbiornik wodny o powierzchni 838
km² (w tym w granicach Polski 328 km²) zaliczany do wód Morza Bałtyckiego, odcięty od Zatoki Gdańskiej przez Mierzeję Wiślaną.Przez Zalew przebiega ukośnie do jego osi podłużnej granica państwowa pomiędzy Polską a Federacją Rosyjską (Obwód kaliningradzki). Zalew posiada połączenie z Zatoką Gdańską poprzez Cieśninę Pilawską. 10 listopada 2006 ogłoszono decyzję rządu polskiego o wykonaniu przekopu Mierzei Wiślanej.
