 Drabitz Dawid – pochodził z miejscowości Witweida w Miśni. Od 1598 r. był nauczycielem germaniki w młodszych klasach gimnazjalnych. Po awansie w 1611 r. nauczał w II klasie Gimnazjum Elbląskim. Po 26 latach pracy zrezygnował z posady nauczyciela, został piwowarem i Członkiem drugiego ordynku (Drugi ordynek-reprezentacja pospólstwa we władzach miasta, w Elblągu jej istnienie zatwierdzono w 1526 r. W jej skład wchodziły 32 osoby ( w tym 8 rzemieślników), wpływ na skład II ordynku miała rada). Drabitz zmarł 11.10.1643 roku.
