 Cramer Jan – ur. w 1605 r., syn Andrzeja, profesora Gimnazjum Elbląskiego. Wykształcenie średnie otrzymał w rodzinnym Elblągu i Toruniu. Studiował w Wittenberdze i Roztoce. Od 1633 r. pracował w Gimnazjum, ucząc II klasy. Po dziewięciu latach pracy uzyskał awans na konrektora, a po odejściu J. Pastoriusa, Rada Miejska powierzyła mu 29.10.1654 r. urząd rektora. Opublikował kilkanaście oracji, panegiryków, wierszy i innych utworów szkolnych. Zmarł 19.05.1667 r.
